A source close to the Prime Minister disclosed that Alli’s appointment aligns with the Minister’s Advisor and Secretariat Management Procedure, and he has already begun his work. Alli previously served in a similar capacity during Oli’s tenure as Prime Minister in 2017 AD.

During that period, he was instrumental in establishing an action room at the Prime Minister’s Office, developing a system for evaluating the performance of ministries, and creating a citizen app. Despite these advancements, there was limited interest from the Prime Minister at the time in fully utilizing these technologies to enhance service delivery.

In his renewed role, Alli is expected to spearhead initiatives aimed at making government services online-based and integrating various government systems.

“Now, he will play a role as an expert on the work to be done by the government in order to make government services online-based and integrate government systems,” said a source within the Prime Minister’s Office.

Alli’s appointment underscores the government’s commitment to embracing digital solutions to improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in public services. With his expertise, the administration aims to implement robust digital frameworks that will enhance the overall effectiveness of government operations and service delivery to citizens.
