IT Project Competition Award 2026
Guided by the theme “Honoring Innovation. Celebrating Excellence,” the competition is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry reality.
The main event is officially scheduled for Saturday, 2nd May 2026 (19th Baishakh 2083), serving as a prestigious platform for undergraduate students, independent developers, and emerging technology leaders across Nepal.
Inauguration and Leadership Vision
The ITPCA 2026 was formally inaugurated by Dr. Devraj Paneru, Principal of Liberty College. During the ceremony, Dr. Paneru emphasized the necessity of project-based learning in the modern era.
“Such initiatives are essential for producing industry-ready graduates and motivating youth to become confident technology leaders,” he stated, reaffirming his institution’s support for innovation-led education.
The conceptual framework of the award was developed by Chiranjibi Adhikari, CEO of One Cover Pvt. Ltd. and a renowned ICT policy expert. Adhikari envisions the ITPC as a professional ecosystem where Nepalese youth are evaluated on merit, impact, and sustainability.
“Youth innovation must be encouraged through platforms that recognize creativity, responsibility, and real-world relevance,” Adhikari shared.
