About ITU160 Gender Champions
This prestigious initiative, hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with the Government of Canada, will bring nine exceptional young women (ages 18–25) to Geneva, Switzerland. The selected participants will have their travel and accommodations fully covered to attend major global digital events:

Young women from developing countries
Applicants from least developed countries (LDCs), landlocked developing countries (LLDCs), and small island developing states (SIDS)
Young Indigenous women
Young women with disabilities
