The film is set to hit cinemas on Bhadra 6 (August 22, 2025).
The teaser opens with a poignant wedding scene, quickly shifting focus to the central character, portrayed by the acclaimed actor Vijay Baral, and his ardent aspiration to travel to South Korea.
Viewers are immediately drawn into his conflict with his father over this life-altering decision and the subsequent betrayal he faces from someone from his village after arriving in Kathmandu.
As Vijay’s character embarks on his journey to Kathmandu, fueled by his dream of Korea, the teaser skillfully illustrates how his initial goals begin to blur, portraying a path where even the dream itself seems to fade.
It highlights the significant challenges of pursuing a destination without adequate knowledge and preparation, a relatable struggle for many.
Against a backdrop of family hardship and unfulfilled aspirations, the teaser also provides tantalizing glimpses of romance and profound emotional depth, promising a multi-layered story.
Star-Studded Cast and Crew
‘Janai Harayeko Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu’ boasts a strong ensemble cast. Alongside the talented Vijay Baral, the film features prominent actors such as Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Sushank Mainali, and Bholaraj Sapkota in pivotal roles.
This reunion of Vijay Baral and Keki Adhikari as leads is highly anticipated, with expectations for another blockbuster in the Nepali cinema industry.
Himal Neupane skillfully directs the film. Manish Raut, known for his role in ‘Prem Geet 3’, serves as the associate director. The extensive cast also includes Rear Rai, Bhavana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa.
Produced under the prestigious Paperclip banner, the film is brought to life by producers Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane. The executive producer team comprises Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Sibakoti, RK Manandhar, CR Basnet, Philip DC, and James Maharjan.
Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal pens the compelling story, screenplay, and dialogues. The film’s musical score is a collaborative effort by Thaneshwar Gautam, Arjun Pokhrel, SD Yogi, and Prashant Sibakoti.
Naveen Gurung is the Director of Photography (DOP), with cinematography by Krishna Pariyar. Dinesh Bahadur Raut is the chief assistant director, supported by assistant directors Tarkaraj Neupane, Ravindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Akash KC. Laxmanraj Paudel serves as the production controller.
The teaser and upcoming trailer have been meticulously edited by Shahil Khan, with color grading by Supreme Parajuli, choreography by Sunil Kshetri, and action direction by Chulthe Kaji. Kafiya Films, led by Govinda Shahi, will handle the film’s distribution.

This film marks Vijay Baral’s first major release in 2081 BS, following the massive success of ‘Purnabahadurko Sarangi’. Notably, Vijay recently earned the prestigious National Film Award for Best Actor for his outstanding performance in ‘Purnabahadurko Sarangi’.
In a recent highlight, on Monday, Vijay Baral and editor Bharat Regmi were honored at the Presidential Residence in Maharajgunj for their respective National Film Award wins in acting and editing, further cementing their status in the Nepali film industry.
