Janta Bank Starts International Remittance Service

Janta Bank has started operation of international remittance service. Earlier the bank only used to provide the remittance service within the country, but now they had made the facility for foreign service too.

The recent agreement between BexMoney Bahrain Express Exchange and Janta bank has made the international remittance service possible. According to the convention from now onwards, Nepali residing in Bahrain can send the money through Janta Remit.

 From any branch of BexMoney based on Bahrain, customers can open Janta Bank account, receive cheque book and ATM Card.

The remit sent from Bahrain can be received from all the 121 branches of Janta bank and 16 thousand remit agent who are available throughout the country.

Janata Bank Nepal Limited is the 27th commercial bank established under the Bank & Financial Institution Act, 2063. The bank’s corporate office is located at Central Business Park, Thapathali, Kathmandu.

Currently, the bank is operating with 121 branches, two extension counter, 3 Limited Branch Outlet (LBO),67 ATM’s and 18 Branchless Banking and will gradually expand it’s branch network to provide its service all over the country. With large numbers of promoters, the bank is the first licensed commercial bank, and currently, the bank has paid up capital of NPR 6993 Million.
