The meeting was chaired by the company’s Chairman, Tek Nath Pokharel, and witnessed unanimous approval of several key resolutions. These included the presentation of the annual report from the Board of Directors, the appointment of directors and auditors, their remunerations, and the endorsement of the company’s financial statements for the year.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the unanimous decision to rename the company from “JBNL Securities Limited” to “Global IME Securities Limited,” aligning it with the parent company’s branding. This rebranding will be formalized through amendments to the company’s Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association.

The AGM saw the participation of key stakeholders, including the authorized representative of the sole shareholder, Global IME Bank, Bishwo Subedi, representatives from the Office of the Company Registrar, the Board of Directors, the Managing Director, customers, and employees.

The rebranding of JBNL Securities to Global IME Securities is expected to strengthen its identity and position in the market as a leading securities brokerage firm in Nepal under the trusted banner of Global IME Bank. This move also reflects the company’s commitment to better serving its clients with enhanced credibility and brand consistency.
