This initiative was carried out through the bank’s “Hamro Bikas Prabardhan Kosh,” further strengthening its commitment to social welfare. The prosthetic hands, distributed during an event at Enable Nepal’s office, are designed to boost children’s confidence and help them with daily activities.

To date, the bank has provided prosthetic hands to 26 children. On its 16th anniversary, Jyoti Bikash Bank announced its plan to provide prosthetic hands to 16 children, and the first phase has now been completed with six recipients. These lightweight prosthetic hands are engineered for ease of use, enhancing the children’s ability to perform everyday tasks.

The bank is committed to driving positive change in society and improving the lives of citizens. It has allocated a significant portion of its profits to CSR activities, contributing to healthcare and neonatal survival efforts, and impacting thousands of lives across Nepal.
