Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited, which has been expanding the reach of digital banking services across the country, has introduced a very useful facility for its fixed deposit account holders.
Kamana Sewa Fixed Deposit Loans
While the bank already had a feature to open fixed deposit accounts via its mobile banking app, it has now enabled customers to apply for loans based on the amount in their fixed deposit accounts directly through the bank’s mobile banking app ‘KS iMobile’. The approved loan amount can then be instantly credited to the customer’s own account.
Previously, customers had to visit the nearest branch and complete various paperwork to obtain a loan against their fixed deposit. However, with this new facility, customers can easily take out loans through the mobile app without visiting a branch. This is expected to save time, simplify service delivery, and enhance customer satisfaction.
As customers can now access loans against their fixed deposits at any time — even during busy hours — they no longer need to wait for office hours or visit a bank branch, which the bank believes will directly benefit them.
With the aim of gradually eliminating the need for customers to visit the bank, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank is making its services more technology-friendly. The bank had already introduced facilities such as online account opening and the ability to open fixed deposit accounts through the mobile banking app.
