Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum is going to organize Startup Awards. Intending to provide more encouragement and support to Nepali entrepreneurs, the Kathmandu chapter of the forum is going to provide the Nepali Young Entrepreneurs Forum Kathmandu Startup Award.

The platform will reward the best startup ideas to inspire the youth to enter the business sector. Through this program, new entrepreneurs will be given the necessary exposure, mentorship, and investment opportunities.

Startup companies that want to participate in the award must be registered in the office designated by the Nepal government. Similarly, the startup should not have been established for more than 5 years. Not only this, the product or service provided or intended to be provided by the startup should be ready.

The startup will also have to submit the audit report conducted at the nearest time. If there is no audit report, the provisional financial statement must be submitted.

Only companies that submit their applications with all these required documents within the prescribed period will be eligible for the award. Companies run by entrepreneurs who are members of the Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs Forum will not be allowed to participate in the awards.

The first, second, and people’s choice awards will be presented to the award winners. In the award, the first, second, and third place winners will be given cash gifts of four lakh rupees, two lakh rupees, and one lakh rupees respectively.

Sagarmatha Insurance is the main sponsor of the program while Siddharth Bank is the co-sponsor. The registration form for the award will be open from the 10th of August. Registration forms will be available at NYEF Startup Awards.com.
