Nepal’s prominent online payment service provider company, Khalti Digital Wallet has introduced a new service to facilitate the online renewal payments of Oriental Insurance Company.
The service has been introduced to encourage customers to make digital payments amidst COVID. Its aim is also to save their time and energy by making it easier to pay all kinds of bills from the comfort of their home from Khalti.

Oriental Insurance, a Non-life Insurance Company, established in 1947, has been operating in Nepal since 1956. Its headquarter is located in New Delhi, India. It aims to serve customers better with quality service and function as a strong and dynamic non-life insurer.
Those without Khalti accounts can also make payment through any of the Khalti Sewa Kendra of Khalti spread all across Nepal.

To pay Oriental non-life Insurance premium via Khalti, one needs to:
Log in to the Khalti app and tap on the “Insurance” icon on its home screen
Select “Oriental Life Insurance”
Enter “Amount”, “Customer Name”, “Proforma No.” and Other details
Finally, press on the “Proceed to Pay”, Select ‘Payment Option’, and Pay
If an insurance premium is above Rs. 5000, one must verify their Khalti KYC first. After KYC verification, users can enjoy a wide range of offers and services.
