While there is certainly no shortage of TVs in Nepal, the arrival of the new Konka LED TVs has caught the attention of many. Konka has claimed the right to call itself the first company to run Smart TVs on Linux. With the launch of its two new Smart LED TVs powered by the Linux operating system, Konka has managed to stand out. The company was first founded as Shenzhen Konka Electronic Group Co. Ltd. Later, in the year 1995, the name of the company was changed to be “Konka Group Co Ltd.” as we know it today. These TVs use Konka’s HiBright Pro Backlight for a 25% brighter picture with ColorWave Wide Color Gamut for deeper and lifelike color. The series also includes DynaBright, AccuMotion 120, Android TV, and 4 HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2.
