KP Sharma Oli Accused Of Ordering Firing on Gen Z Protesters; FIR Filed

Former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been accused of ordering security forces to open fire on peaceful Gen Z protesters, leading to multiple casualties.

Congress lawmaker Abhishek Pratap Shah lodged a formal complaint (#FIR) at the Metropolitan Police Office, New Baneshwor, through Kapilvastu Chief District Officer (#CDO) Dilkumar Tamang.

According to the FIR, more than a dozen youths aged between 17 and 45 were killed, while many others sustained injuries during the crackdown.

The victims have been identified as Sulabh Raj Shrestha, Yam Chaulagain, Buddhi Tamang, Misal Saru Magar, Paruhang Utamal Rai, Yogendra Nyaupane, Binod Maharjan, Dil Narayan Tamang, Prabin Kulung, Umesh Mahat, Nita Gautam, Shaurabh Kishor Shrestha, Subash Bohora, and Niraj Pant.

The complaint demands:

A thorough investigation into the incident

Legal action against those responsible, based on evidence

Submission of autopsy reports and on-site investigation findings

CDO Dilkumar Tamang confirmed that the FIR has been forwarded to the relevant authorities for further process.
