Kathmandu University Computer Club (KUCC) recently had the privilege of co-hosting the Tech2Empower Day for University Women, a remarkable program that connected young women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with female tech industry professionals from renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Salesforce.

The event, organized by WAKE International in partnership with KUCC, aimed to inspire and empower women and girls in STEM fields.

The Tech2Empower Day provided participants with an exceptional opportunity to attend workshops focused on STEM education and leadership development. These workshops allowed young women to enhance their skills, receive personalized feedback, and gain valuable insights from experts in the tech industry. Moreover, the event fostered an environment for networking, enabling participants to connect with experienced professionals who shared their experiences and provided guidance for their future careers.

KUCC expresses its gratitude for being chosen as a partner for this inspiring initiative. The club is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the tech industry, and Tech2Empower Day aligned perfectly with its mission. The participants showcased remarkable enthusiasm, creativity, and talent throughout the event, demonstrating the immense potential of women in STEM fields.

KUCC extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Bal Krishna Bal and their advisor, Dr. Sushil Shrestha, for their constant guidance and support in organizing this event. Their expertise and dedication were instrumental in ensuring the success of Tech2Empower Day.

This collaborative effort between WAKE International, KUCC, and renowned tech companies underscored the significance of empowering women and girls in STEM. By providing them with a platform to engage with industry professionals, gain valuable knowledge, and build networks, the event has contributed to breaking barriers and fostering an inclusive tech community.
