Kumarmani Thapaliya Elected

Kumarmani Thapaliya has been elected as the chairperson of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA).

Thapaliya secured his position by defeating his closest rival, Pramod Dahal, in a competitive election.

NATTA, the leading umbrella organization of tour and travel operators in the country, announced the results following its 57th Annual General Meeting.

Thapaliya brings extensive experience to his new role, having previously served as the treasurer and general secretary of NATTA.

With over one and a half decades of involvement in the tour, travel, and trekking business, he is well-equipped to lead the organization forward.

In the same election, Jiswa Tuladhar was elected as Senior Vice Chair and Ghanashyam Ghimire as Vice Chair, both unopposed.

The new General Secretary is Yuvika Bhandari, while Bishnu Pandey has been elected as Secretary, Suresh Amgai as Treasurer, and Dhaknath Kafle as Joint Treasurer, all unopposed.

The newly elected board members include Shraddha Joshi, Ramshobit Raya, Krishna Prasad Dhakal, Bidur Prasad Khatiwada, Sudarshan Paudyal, Krishna Prasad Dhakal, Bijay Rizal, and Rama Kumari Pyakurel. The election was conducted by Election Officer Arun Paudyal, ensuring a fair and transparent process.

With this new leadership team, NATTA is poised to continue its mission of promoting and supporting the tour and travel industry in Nepal.
