The social and comedic Nepali movie ‘Laj Saranam’ has officially begun its promotional campaign for the New Year 2025. Director Kumar Kattel revealed three posters on Wednesday and announced plans for nationwide poetry tours and other events.

Promotion Campaign:
According to Director Kattel, the movie ‘Laj Saranam’ aims to connect directly with audiences across Nepal. Poetry and singing campaigns are among the key promotional activities planned. “We aim to interact with audiences and understand their perspectives about us,” said Kattel.
Poster Highlights:
Three posters have been released, offering glimpses into the movie’s storyline:
The first poster features Harish Niraula, Bijay Baral, Sagar Lamsal, and Arjun Ghimire inside a coffin.
The second poster shows a man, resembling Mahesh Tripathi, standing on the coffin while holding a balance scale.
In the third poster, Bijay Baral blows a conch made from human bones while sitting on Harish Niraula’s back.
These posters humorously depict how greed for wealth can lead individuals to downfall.
Cast and Production Team:
The movie stars Mukunda Shrestha, Prashant Tamrakar, Arpan Thapa, Renu Yogi, and Mala Limbu, along with the ‘Sakkigo Ni’ team, including Arjun Ghimire, Sagar Lamsal, Priyanka Acharya, and others.
Produced under the JPT Creation banner, the film is directed by Kumar Kattel and produced by Navin Shrestha, with Ramnaresh Shah and Sirjana Khadka as co-producers. The cinematography is by Sudip Baral.
