Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited has announced the date for its 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held on Poush 24 (January 8, 2025) at the Agrawal Building in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 11:00 AM.

Key Proposals for the AGM
The AGM will include several important decisions, including the proposal to distribute a 5% bonus share from the bank’s paid-up capital, along with a 0.26% cash dividend for tax purposes.
In addition, the meeting will seek approval for amendments to the bank’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, granting the board of directors the authority to make necessary changes.
Other Proposals to Be Voted On
The AGM will also cover several important matters, including the appointment of a representative director from the founding shareholder group to the board. In addition, the meeting will seek approval for the appointment of auditors for the upcoming term.
Other routine resolutions, necessary for the smooth operation of the bank and its continued growth, will also be discussed and voted on. These decisions are vital for maintaining the bank’s governance and ensuring its compliance with regulations.
Book Closure Date Announced
For the AGM and dividend distribution, the bank has announced a book closure date of Poush 17 (January 1, 2025). As per this announcement, shareholders who hold shares in the bank until Poush 16 (December 31, 2024) will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the proposed dividends.
The shareholders who wish to participate in the AGM or claim the proposed dividend must ensure their holdings are registered before the book closure date to remain eligible.
