Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited has successfully concluded its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM), achieving a significant financial milestone by approving a generous cash dividend for its shareholders.

The Laxmi Sunrise Capital Dividend proposal, amounting to 15.79% of the paid-up capital, which translates to Rs. 7.72 crore (including tax), was unanimously ratified at the meeting.
The AGM took place on November 6 (Kartik 21 B.S.) at the Laxmi Complex in Hattisar, Kathmandu. The event served to approve the company’s financial results for the Fiscal Year 2081/82, including the annual report, the balance sheet as of Ashadh end, the profit and loss account, and the cash flow statement.
Financial Highlights and Profitability
The company presented robust financial figures to the shareholders, underscoring its profitability and strategic financial management during the fiscal year. Key financial metrics confirmed at the AGM include:
- Earnings Per Share (EPS): The company reported a solid EPS of Rs. 18.20, demonstrating a high level of profitability relative to its outstanding shares.
- Distributable Income: The income available for distribution stood at an impressive 17.83%.
The proposal to distribute the approved cash dividend was accepted unanimously, reflecting the shareholders’ confidence in the company’s financial health and its ability to consistently generate value. Laxmi Sunrise Capital currently manages a substantial portfolio of mutual funds, demonstrating its expertise in asset management. The company operates a total of six funds with assets under management (AUM) totaling approximately Rs. 6 billion.
This portfolio includes five closed-end mutual funds and one open-end mutual fund. In a remarkable display of investment proficiency, all mutual funds managed by the company successfully distributed double-digit returns during the Fiscal Year 2081/82.
