Laxmi Sunrise Bank has taken a significant step toward enhancing its operational efficiency and supporting sustainable development by entering into a strategic advisory partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Additionally, it will focus on promoting climate finance and supply chain finance, positioning these two areas as primary priorities under its sustainability and innovation strategy.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Mr. Ajaya Shah, Chief Executive Officer of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, and Mr. Mehdi Cherkaoui, Regional Manager for South Asia, Financial Institutions Group – Upstream and Advisory, representing IFC.

This collaboration not only lays a strong foundation for the bank’s long-term sustainability strategy but also strengthens its capabilities in risk management. Furthermore, it reinforces Laxmi Sunrise Bank’s commitment to prioritizing the long-term interests of its clients and contributing to Nepal’s broader financial inclusion and green economy goals.
