Life Computer Website Building Competition: Nepal SEE Graduates ICT Challenge
11th June 2025, Kathmandu
Life Computer has kicked off the 7th Season of its Website Building Competition, a creative platform for students who appeared in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2081.
Life Computer Website Building Competition
The competition is designed to inspire young minds in information and communication technology (ICT). It focuses on creativity, digital skills, and practical knowledge in web development.
Open To SEE Graduates Only
The competition is exclusively open to students who appeared in the SEE exams in 2024. According to the organizer, no registration fee is required. Interested students must submit their original website projects by the end of Jestha (mid-June 2025).
This annual program is part of Life Computer’s mission to promote ICT skills among school-level students. The competition also aims to connect technical learning with real-life experiences.
Platform For Building Life Skills
Ramesh Pokhrel, CEO of Life Computer, said the competition is more than just about making websites. It is a platform for building life skills. “We want to take students beyond textbooks. Learning how to build websites helps develop problem-solving and critical thinking,” he shared.
He added that ICT is not just a skill—it is a mindset. Using digital tools to express creativity is part of modern education. Therefore, this event encourages students to take their first step toward innovation.
Focus On Skills, Confidence, And Presentation
According to Laxmi Khatri, the program coordinator, this competition helps students in more ways than just technical learning. It builds self-confidence, communication skills, and public speaking abilities.
Participants will receive a technical orientation, guidance materials, and a unique identification code. Evaluation will be based on this code, ensuring a fair and transparent assessment.
Prizes For Top Performers
From the submitted websites, 20 students will be shortlisted. Among them, one student will be selected as the overall winner. The main winner will receive a brand-new laptop as a prize.
Moreover, students who make it to the top ranks will receive pendrives and other ICT-related gifts. These prizes aim to encourage digital learning and support students’ passion for web development.
Encouraging Young ICT Talent
Life Computer has worked in Nepal’s ICT education sector since 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). It launched the website competition in 2074 B.S. (2017 A.D.) to foster creativity in web design among school students.
Last year, during Season 6, the event attracted 1,102 students from different districts. Yogesh Smali, a student of Himalayan Academy in Samakhusi, won the top title.
The organizers say this competition helps young students discover their interest in technology. It also gives them a platform to showcase their skills in a public setting.
Final Results In Ashar
The final results of the competition will be announced in Ashar’s second week (late June to early July). A grand event will be organized to honor the winners and distribute the prizes.
Students interested in participating can visit the Life Computer office directly or register online. More information is available on their official website and social media channels.
Promoting ICT Skills In Nepal
This website-building competition reflects Life Computer’s long-term goal—to develop a tech-savvy generation in Nepal. By giving students hands-on experience, it supports the growth of the digital economy and innovation.
As Nepal’s education system continues to embrace technology, such competitions bridge the gap between theory and practice. They prepare students for future careers in web design, software development, and digital entrepreneurship.
Conclusion
In short, the Life Computer Website Competition Season 7 is a golden opportunity for SEE graduates passionate about ICT. It builds creativity, boosts confidence, and offers valuable rewards. Through this event, students get a chance to turn their digital dreams into reality.
