Renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Lion Milan Babu Malla has been officially elected as the District Governor of Lions Clubs International District 325 J, Nepal, for the upcoming Lions year. His election marks a new chapter of leadership and commitment in Nepal’s Lions movement.

The election was conducted during the grand 3rd District Convention held at the National Assembly Hall, Kathmandu, which saw the participation of over 700 Lions leaders from across the country.
Key Elections and Appointments
Along with Lion Milan Babu Malla, several other notable Lions leaders were elected for key positions:
PDG Lion Dhruba Bahadur Thapa – Endorsed as International Director Candidate
Lion Prajapati Bastola – Elected as First Vice District Governor
Lion Kush Prasad Mally – Elected as Second Vice District Governor
In his address, District Governor-elect Lion Malla announced his theme for the year: “Respect Each Other”, emphasizing unity, compassion, and mutual appreciation. He also appointed:

Outgoing District Governor Lion Milan Thapa congratulated the new leadership team and urged continued excellence in service. She also honored dedicated Lions leaders with certificates of appreciation and medals for their contributions.
Special Recognitions: The convention also honored: Lion Bodh Bahadur Rautkshatri, Lion Bishnu Prasad Bhusal, a mountaineer who successfully scaled Mount Everest. Hosted By The convention was hosted by the Lions Club of Kathmandu Baneshwor, with Lion Ramraja Thapa, District PRO-in-Chief, serving as the event’s convener.
