Locus 2020 To Host Girl To Code Program, Encourage Girls In IT

Girls Teaching Girls to Code Nepal

15th January 2020, Kathmandu

LOCUS 2020, in association with Girls in Tech Nepal, presents Girl-To-Code, a new initiative of LOCUS, to encourage girls in technology from 21st January to 22nd January at Pulchowk Campus. Every person always talks about the lack of girls in tech and I can’t argue with the statistics. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. These days, there are more coding-for-girls resources than ever to help girls break into the technology industry. If you teach a girl to code, she will change Nepal. Let’s explore some of the excellent places where girls can learn to code

This program is a two-day boot camp on cloud computing and technical leadership development. The program is targeted to female students, as the name suggests, who are studying at the Engineering and IT colleges of Nepal.
