Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has officially signed an agreement with Fonepay, a leading digital payment service provider, to facilitate the acceptance of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in Nepal.

With this collaboration, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank will integrate UPI into its existing digital payment system, enabling customers to make transactions using their mobile phones efficiently and securely.
UPI, a real-time payment system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), allows instant money transfers between bank accounts via a mobile platform.
