Mahuli Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited ( MSLB ) will begin its Follow-on Public Offering (FPO) sale tomorrow, December 5. The institution aims to increase the public shareholding from 19.68% to 30%.

FPO Issuance Details

Mahuli Laghubitta will issue 475,449.15 shares, each priced at NPR 100. The total value of the shares will amount to NPR 47,544,915. Investors can apply for the FPO until December 24. If the required number of applications is not received, the deadline will be extended to December 19.

Application Process and Limits

Applicants can purchase a minimum of 10 shares and up to a maximum of 1,000 shares. The FPO will be managed by Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited. Investors can apply through the C-ASBA system via participating banks and financial institutions or use the Meroshare online platform.

Company’s Current and Projected Capital

Mahuli Laghubitta currently has a paid-up capital of NPR 322,378,585. After the FPO, this will rise to NPR 369,923,500. The capital increase will strengthen the institution’s financial position. It will allow for expanded operations and better services. This boost will support Mahuli Laghubitta’s growth in Nepal’s financial market.

ICRA Nepal’s Credit Rating

ICRA Nepal has given Mahuli Laghubitta an issuer rating of ‘BB-’. This rating indicates medium risk regarding the institution’s ability to meet its financial obligations.

Regulatory Compliance

This FPO aligns with the Bank and Financial Institutions Act, of 2016. The act mandates Laghubitta institutions to raise public shareholding to 30% of total issued capital.

This requirement ensures greater transparency and public involvement in the sector. By meeting this standard, Mahuli Laghubitta will enhance accountability and boost investor confidence.

How to Apply

Investors interested in purchasing shares must submit their applications via the C-ASBA system or Meroshare by the specified deadline. The FPO provides an excellent opportunity to increase public participation in Mahuli Laghubitta.
