Malaysia’s Pandai has made history by becoming the first-ever WITSA World Cup Champion at the 28th World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2024, held in Yerevan, Armenia.

Malaysia’s Pandai Wins Inaugural

The victory came after an intense competition that saw 16 teams from 8 countries battling it out in the grand finals.

The WITSA World Cup, which started with a pledge by 19 countries at WCIT|IDECS 2023, brought together top tech innovators from across the globe.

Through National Selections, teams from countries including Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Greece, Romania, Spain, Jordan, and the United Kingdom qualified for the finals, showcasing cutting-edge technology and entrepreneurship.

Pandai’s CEO, Khairul Anwar, delivered an exceptional final pitch before a panel of global judges, securing the prestigious Zohari Challenge Trophy and additional prizes.

The win solidifies Pandai’s position as a leader in innovation, representing Malaysia on the global stage.

The WITSA World Cup is set to become a hallmark event for global tech innovators, spotlighting talent and fostering international collaboration in the tech space.
