Maruti Suzuki Victorious
With its striking design, premium features, and a strong emphasis on safety and technology, this new SUV is poised to take on established rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate.
Inspired Design and Commanding Presence
The design of the Victorious draws inspiration from its larger sibling, the Grand Vitara, but carves out its own distinct identity. The front fascia is dominated by slim, crisp LED headlamps connected by a stylish chrome strip, giving the vehicle a sleek and modern look.
The body is adorned with black cladding all around, which not only adds to its rugged appeal but also provides a sense of durability.
Chunky bumpers with silver skid plates at both the front and rear further enhance its adventurous character. The SUV rides on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels that fill the arches and contribute to its confident stance. The overall design language suggests a perfect blend of urban sophistication and off-road readiness, making it a versatile choice for various lifestyles.
A Premium and Feature-Rich Interior
Stepping inside the Victorious, one is greeted by a cabin that exudes sophistication and is packed with modern amenities. The centerpiece of the dashboard is a large 10.25-inch central touchscreen infotainment system that offers seamless wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
For an immersive audio experience, the SUV is equipped with an Infinity by Harman 8-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos. Comfort and convenience have been given top priority, as evidenced by features like an 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting, and automatic climate control.
The panoramic sunroof adds to the sense of spaciousness, while a wireless charger and powered tailgate add a layer of convenience. Other notable features include a head-up display, a 10.25-inch full digital instrument cluster, and ventilated front seats, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious ride even on long journeys.
Safety Redefined: First Maruti Suzuki Car with Level-2 ADAS
In a major leap forward for the brand, the Maruti Suzuki Victorious is the first car from the company to feature Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems).
This cutting-edge safety technology suite includes features that assist the driver in various driving scenarios, significantly enhancing safety and reducing the risk of accidents.
The comprehensive safety kit doesn’t stop there. The Victorious comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), traction control, and hill-hold control. For added peace of mind, it also features a 360-degree camera and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The commitment to safety is further validated by the car’s impressive 5-star safety rating in the rigorous Bharat NCAP crash tests, cementing its position as one of the safest vehicles in its class.
Diverse Powertrain Options to Suit Every Need
Maruti Suzuki understands that modern consumers have diverse needs, and the Victorious addresses this with a variety of powertrain options.
The SUV will be available with a 1.5-liter mild-hybrid petrol engine, which offers a balance of performance and fuel efficiency. For those seeking even greater fuel economy and a greener footprint, a 1.5-liter strong-hybrid variant is also on offer.
Furthermore, a CNG variant will be available, providing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative.
Transmission choices are equally varied. The petrol engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, giving drivers the flexibility to choose their preferred style of driving.
The strong-hybrid model comes exclusively with an e-CVT, known for its smooth and efficient power delivery. To cater to adventure enthusiasts, select variants of the Victorious will also be available with an all-wheel drive option, making it capable of handling diverse terrains with ease.
Variants and Pricing
The Maruti Suzuki Victorious will be offered in a total of six variants, providing a wide range of options to cater to different budgets and preferences.
While the full pricing details have yet to be revealed, the launch of the Victorious signals Maruti Suzuki’s strong intent to capture a larger share of the lucrative midsize SUV market.
