On Mental Health Awareness Month, AIESEC in Patan organizes “Mental Health Matters” as the first initiative toward Mental health and making youths aware of their well-being, care, understanding, compassion and health.

The Event aims to promote SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) to ensure an easier, accessible and safe healthy well-being.

As the world’s largest youth-led organization, AIESEC has been present in more than 110 countries and territories, with a vision of achieving “Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind’s Potential.” We aim to engage each youth in this world through cross-cultural exchanges in the countries where we are present.

Our exchanges and engagement activities call attention to the youth’s role and engagement in global action. We do this by aligning our exchange projects and events with Sustainable Development Goals.

Throughout the event “Mental Health Matters,” a strategic marketing campaign for this awareness month would run for a strategic 15 days before the main event. Social users and audiences were made to share their feelings and emotions by using comfortable questions on social media and awarding people about various mental health issues and wellnesses.

Important dates for this Event are coming soon, so come let’s together to celebrate the ongoing effort to reduce the stigma around mental illness and mental health conditions by sharing our personal experiences.

This Event would focus on students’ emotional well-being, making them feel deserved, understood, cared for, compassionate, and healed from social connections. The event will reflect on Mental health activities.

The main objective of this Event for students would be to empower young emerging minds to be strong in their mental efforts and reinforce them to have positive behavior and safe decision-making.

As a major Call to Action for the overall Event, the AIESEC walks for Mental health will be conducted on 28th may,2022 aiming to bring together individuals of all ages in creating a safe and friendly environment for everyone in building positive social interactions. Since digital ways of connection have bound us to physical interaction, AIESEC members and Alumni would initiate the walk and invite the general public to raise awareness.
