In a welcome and press meet event held on Saturday at Laxmi Party Palace, Inaruwa, 21 new private schools were formally inducted as members of N-PABSON.

Speaking at the program, Pandav Hamal Thakuri, former central president and current Head of the Organization Department of N-PABSON, shared insights on the campaign being carried out to strengthen and empower the organization. He stated, “Although there has been some dissatisfaction with past leadership, we will not allow that to repeat in the future.” Thakuri also expressed the view that the upcoming School Education Act 2080, currently being drafted by the government, will not pose difficulties for schools already registered as companies and operating following the Education Act and regulations.

Khagendra K.C., coordinator of N-PABSON Sunsari’s Ad Hoc Committee, stated that many new schools in the district are being attracted to the organization. “Shortly, we will establish ourselves as the main educational organization in the district,” he said. According to him, 21 schools have already formally joined, and many more are expected to join in the coming months.

On the same day, a similar event was held in the afternoon in Jhapa District, chaired by district coordinator Dharma Raj Majhi. In the event, Thakuri welcomed and extended congratulations and best wishes to 9 newly affiliated schools, handing them their membership certificates.

Sending her best wishes to the event, Geeta Kshetri Rana, N-PABSON’s founder and current central president, stated that the organization’s expansion would now accelerate across the country. “Along with Jhapa and Sunsari, we plan to reach out to other districts, helping schools enhance their educational quality and capacity, and strengthen the membership campaign,” she said in her message.

The event was attended by central committee members, the province’s deputy secretary, and officials from Morang and Saptari districts. According to Kumar Bhattarai, Koshi Province Central Coordinator and Vice President of N-PABSON, hundreds of schools in Sunsari and Jhapa districts are currently preparing to join the association.

N-PABSON had recently formed ad hoc committees in Jhapa and Sunsari districts to facilitate local organizational work.
