NADA Auto Show: Record-Breaking 176,789 Visitors in Kathmandu

The NADA Auto Show 2025 concluded in Kathmandu with a historic milestone, attracting an unprecedented 176,789 visitors. Held at Bhrikutimandap from August 19 to 24, this 17th edition showcased the latest automobiles, electric vehicles, and futuristic technologies.

Sponsored by UNITREE (MAW Vriddhi) and inaugurated by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the exhibition set a new benchmark for Nepal’s automotive sector.

The six-day event drew attention from automobile enthusiasts, policymakers, business leaders, and international delegates. Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. The presence of flying cars, robotic innovations, and numerous electric vehicle models made the event a magnet for visitors. Despite a slowdown in the automobile industry, the record turnout proved that consumer interest in modern mobility solutions is growing rapidly in Nepal.

The Auto Show hosted daily interactive programs covering EV adoption, flying car technology, credit policy stability, and youth mobility. Experts from Nepal Rastra Bank, Drone Hub Nepal, and the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) shared insights. NADA Moves Toward Federation Status

On the final day, NADA announced a historic proposal to transform the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal into the Federation of NADA Automobiles Nepal (FNAN). This milestone aligns with NADA’s preparations for its Golden Jubilee and emphasizes the growing influence of the association in shaping Nepal’s automotive industry.
