Suggestions Submitted Before Budget Announcement
Before the budget release, NADA had actively provided policy suggestions to various government ministries and departments. These included recommendations on taxation, import regulations, and policies to make the automotive sector more dynamic.
Over several meetings, NADA urged the government to introduce supportive policies that would revitalize Nepal’s automobile market. They focused on reducing burdens for entrepreneurs and boosting auto trade activities.
Budget Reflects Industry’s Voice
NADA expressed satisfaction that the national budget has incorporated several of their suggestions. According to the association, the government has finally heard the voice of the automobile sector.
“This budget is not only encouraging but also timely,” NADA stated. “It reflects the industry’s years of advocacy and collective voice.”
Business-Friendly Direction
NADA called the fiscal budget business-friendly. The association believes it will help energize the market, create new business opportunities, and stimulate demand in the automobile sector.
The organization further noted that the new policies will motivate entrepreneurs and traders, while also supporting broader economic recovery.
Economic Impact Expected
NADA believes the impact of this budget will go beyond the automobile sector. If implemented effectively, it could contribute to economic growth by increasing employment, trade, and mobility across the country.
The association also praised the budget’s potential to encourage private sector investment and entrepreneurial confidence.
“This is not just about cars,” a NADA representative said. “It’s about how mobility connects with every aspect of the economy—from logistics and tourism to small businesses and jobs.”
Hopes For Supportive Monetary Policy
While applauding the fiscal policy, NADA also stressed the need for a supportive monetary policy. The organization urged Nepal Rastra Bank to bring in measures that align with the budget’s vision.
NADA is particularly hopeful about easier access to finance for vehicle buyers and flexible loan schemes for businesses involved in sales and distribution.
According to NADA, proper coordination between fiscal and monetary policies will be key to realizing the full potential of the budget.
Government Receives Appreciation
In its official statement, NADA thanked the Government of Nepal for listening to the concerns of the auto industry. The association appreciated the government’s willingness to consider sector-specific inputs during budget planning.
“We are sincerely thankful to the government,” NADA said, “for making policies that support the revival and growth of the auto sector.”
Encouragement tTo Industry Players
NADA has also urged entrepreneurs, traders, and auto dealers to make the most of this opportunity. It called on stakeholders to adapt to new changes and participate actively in Nepal’s economic progress.
By working together, NADA believes that the automobile industry can take a leading role in helping the country recover from economic slowdowns.
Continued Coordination Promised
Finally, NADA reaffirmed its commitment to continuing collaboration with the government. It said it will keep engaging with policy-makers to ensure smooth implementation of the announced measures.
The organization also emphasized the importance of monitoring the policy execution, so that the budget’s goals are met in practice.
