The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT), Government of Nepal, has opened applications for the National ICT Award 2025, with only 2 days remaining before the deadline. Interested candidates must apply by April 19, 2025 (Baisakh 7, 2082) to be considered for this prestigious national recognition.
What is the National ICT Award?
The National ICT Award is a government initiative to recognize outstanding contributions in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Nepal. Celebrated every year on May 2nd as National ICT Day, the award honors individuals, organizations, startups, and institutions making impactful contributions to digital transformation and innovation.
Award Categories for 2025
This year, the Ministry will present the National ICT Award 2025 under the following categories:
National ICT Excellence Award 2025
National ICT Excellence Award 2025 (Women)
National ICT Award 2025 (Public Sector)
National ICT Award 2025 (Private Sector)
National ICT Award 2025 (Public Sector – Provincial/Local Level)
National ICT Award 2025 (Private Sector – Provincial/Local Level)
National ICT Innovation Award 2025
National ICT Startup Award 2025
These categories are designed to promote inclusion, regional representation, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit within Nepal’s growing ICT ecosystem.

ICT professionals

Government and public sector offices
Private companies
Women in ICT
Provincial and local-level tech innovators
