In a groundbreaking move for financial education in Nepal, the Nepal Bankers’ Association (Financial Literacy Nationwide) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Financial Literacy Nepal (FLN).
The MoU was officially signed at NBA’s headquarters in Kathmandu on October 19, 2023, with an esteemed presence, including Former Governor Dr. Chijanjivi Nepal.
Key Objectives:
The primary goal of this collaboration is to bolster financial literacy throughout the diverse provinces of Nepal. NBA and FLN aim to jointly conduct training programs designed to empower bank officials from various provinces to become financial literacy trainers.
This program is anticipated to have a broad impact, benefiting a wide range of participants, such as teachers, local government officials, entrepreneurs, and investors.

This strategic partnership is expected to be a significant leap toward sharing essential knowledge and skills related to financial literacy with a myriad of stakeholders. It will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial awareness and education across Nepal.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Ramesh Sharma, Chief Manager of Financial Literacy Nepal, and Mr. Anil Sharma, Executive Director of Nepal Bankers’ Association.
