In a significant move towards fostering academic-industry collaboration, the Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA Signs Kathmandu University) and Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing ceremony took place with Mr. Sunil KC, President of NBA, and Prof. Bijay KC, Dean of KUSOM, representing their respective institutions.

The primary objective of this collaboration is to elevate research initiatives and foster knowledge sharing through joint efforts in various domains. The partnership will involve collaborative research activities, knowledge-generating engagements, information exchange, and internship opportunities for students.

Research Activities:

The collaboration aims to identify and delve into research topic areas of mutual interest, conducting necessary research to contribute to the advancement of the banking sector.

Internship Opportunities:

KUSOM students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships at banks associated with the NBA, providing them with valuable insights into the banking industry.

Both parties will organize guest lectures and talk programs, featuring experts from the banking sector to enrich students’ understanding of real-world banking issues.

KUSOM will seek academic input and support from NBA on banking-related issues, fostering a symbiotic relationship between academia and industry.
