Ncell Clinches 3rd Runner-Up Title at RNGC Scramble Golf Tournament in Kathmandu

Ncell A secured the 3rd runner-up title at the RNGC Scramble Golf Tournament at the Royal Nepal Golf Club in Kathmandu on Saturday (Ncell 3rd Runner-Up Title).

Ncell A team led by professional golfer Sanjay Lama scored -12 under to secure 4th position to win this title.

A total of 29 corporate houses competed in the one-day tournament. Each team consisted of one professional golfer and three amateurs. This tournament was an 18-hole tournament with a shotgun start.

Ncell 3rd Runner-Up Title

Ncell A consisted of professional golfer Sanjay Lama and other three amateur golfers Shree Jay Acharya (Ncell-Single Handicap), Indra Dhara Bista(High Handicap), and Sanjay Poudyal (Mid-Handicap). Professional golfer Lama won a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.

The title of the tournament was bagged by the Kailash Helicopter team. Kailash Helicopter led by professional golfer Santosh Rokka scored 14-under 54 to win the title. Pro Rokka won Rs. 50,000 cash prize. Matrika Eye Center-A finished as runner-up with a score of 13-under 55. Khadka bagged a purse of Rs. 30,000.

Similarly, The Support Nepal Foundation team led by Pro Bhimsen Chaulagain became 2nd runner up scoring 12-under 56, winning on a count back to Ncell A. Chaulagai winning case price of Rs 20,000. Support Nepal’s Mithun Rai won the Straight Drive and Road House Cafe Pvt Ltd’s Swadesh Gurung won the Closest To The Pin titles. They were rewarded with trophies and gift hampers.

This golf tournament is organized by the Royal Nepal Golf Club (RNGC). The main objective of this tournament was to gather all the corporate houses under one roof to promote golf. Other participating corporations in the tournament include Himalayan Bank, Salt Trading, Heidelberg, Arshiya Couture, Creations Soft Nepal, AEDA, Dynasty Air, Sahara Builders, Integrated Solutions, Altitude Air, San Soju, Bhatbhateni International Pvt Ltd, Lama Excursion Pvt Ltd, Jawalakhel Group of Industries (JGI), Vijay Motors, Wisdom Law Solutions, Bad Boys Group, Leon Motors, Premier Organics, and SALICO.
