In a bid to fuel economic development, Nepal is showcasing 151 projects at its third investment conference, kicking off today, Sunday, 28th April.
The conference aims to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) for establishing factories and industries across the country.
Nepal 151 Investment Projects
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” inaugurate the event, which is expected to draw over 1,600 investors from more than 55 countries.
Investment Opportunities on Display:
The Nepal Investment Board will present detailed information on all 151 projects through 23 dedicated exhibition stalls.
Nineteen projects will specifically invite concept notes from interested investors.
Conference Schedule:
Day 1 (Sunday, May 16th): Opening session followed by two main sessions.
Day 2 (Monday, May 17th): Eleven parallel sessions for in-depth discussions.
Special arrangements are made for investors to directly interact with the Prime Minister and Finance Minister.
Collaboration for Growth:
This year’s conference is co-hosted by the government and the private sector, signifying a unified approach towards boosting Nepal’s economic growth.
