Nepal Bank Limited, the first and most historic banking institution in the country, has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Medicare Hospital to provide subsidized healthcare services.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to provide a financial safety net for the Nepalese banking community, ensuring that quality medical care is both accessible and affordable for the bank’s extensive network of stakeholders.
Under the terms of the newly signed agreement, a flat 10 percent discount on hospital billing will be granted to several categories of beneficiaries.
This includes current employees of Nepal Bank and their immediate family members, customers maintaining pension accounts, credit card holders, and retired Nepalese staff members of the bank.
These eligible individuals can avail of the discount for various medical treatments and diagnostic services at Medicare Hospital, conveniently located in Chabahil, Kathmandu.
The formal agreement was signed by Mr. Nirmal Subedi, Head of the Marketing and Research Division of Nepal Bank, and Mr. Roshan Ojha, Management Manager of Medicare Hospital.
During the signing ceremony, both representatives expressed that this collaboration is a testament to their commitment to corporate social responsibility. By leveraging the medical expertise of Medicare Hospital, the bank aims to add significant value to the lives of its account holders and employees.
Nepal Bank has been actively expanding its “Health and Wealth” initiatives by partnering with various medical institutions across the country.
