Nepal’s first EVTOL Deepal Flying Taxi will be officially unveiled by the Honourable Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the opening of the NADA Auto Show 2025 on Tuesday. With this milestone, MAW Vriddhi, in collaboration with Chinese automaker Changan Auto, is signaling the beginning of a new era of mobility in Nepal. The EVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing) aircraft and Deepal EV lineup will be a major highlight of the exhibition at NADA.

For the first time in Nepal, MAW Vriddhi will also showcase Humanoid Robots at the show. These life-sized robots will interact directly with visitors, demonstrating human-like movement and communication. With these innovations, the NADA Auto Show will not only serve as an automobile exhibition but also as a celebration of the arrival of a new technological era in Nepal.

Alongside these futuristic technologies, Deepal and Avatr’s cutting-edge EVs – the Deepal S05, S07 ICA, E07, and the ultra-premium Avatr 11 – will be on display at the NADA Auto Show. The newly launched Deepal S05, unveiled in Nepal just last week, has already received an overwhelming response in only a few days. Thanks to its unique combination of luxury, style, and advanced technology, this new SUV has quickly gained popularity. As Nepal’s No. 1 luxury EV brand, Deepal’s entire EV lineup will be showcased at Stalls A1 and A2, allowing visitors to experience them firsthand.
National Significance
“NADA Auto Show has always been the stage for presenting breakthrough technologies. This year, the unveiling of Nepal’s first Flying Taxi by the Prime Minister himself is truly a historic achievement,” said Vivek Sikaria, Managing Director of MAW Vriddhi. “By introducing the Flying Taxi, Humanoid Robots, and Deepal’s disruptive EV lineup, we are redefining the future of mobility in Nepal.”
