Nepal has improved the speed of mobile data with fixed broadband last December.

According to Ookla Global Speeds data released last December, Nepal has improved five places in fixed broadband to 111th.

In recent times, the number of internet users in Nepal has been increasing.

Nepal’s fixed broadband internet has an average of 24.05 Mbps, according to Ookla. According to Ookla’s report reviewing the fixed broadband speeds of 176 countries. Nepal has risen one place to 115th place by improving the level of mobile internet.

Last December, the average speed of Nepal’s mobile data was 18.24 Mbps.

Okla’s review details the state of the mobile Internet in 139 countries. Fixed broadband is the best situation in Thailand. Improving two places, Thailand has risen to the top.

Following in the footsteps of Singapore and Hong Kong, Thailand has risen to the top spot. Fixed broadband in Thailand averages 308.35 Mbps.

Furthermore, Qatar has the best mobile internet. Qatar has also climbed to the top after the UAE and South Korea. The average speed of mobile internet in Qatar is 178.01 Mbps, according to the report.

According to Ookla, the global average download of fixed broadband is 96.43 Mbps, upload 52.31, and latency 21 ms (milliseconds). The global average download of mobile internet is 47.20, upload is 12.67 and latency is 36 ms.
