Nepal International Trade Fair 2025 Kathmandu: Explore Global & Local Business Opportunities

The Nepal International Trade Fair 2025 is set to begin on 8 May at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The event will run until 12 May. The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is organizing the fair.

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies is supporting the event. Trade and Export Promotion Centre, Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal are co-organizers.
FNCCI held a press meet at its Teku Secretariat on Tuesday to share the details.
International Participation and Exhibitions
The trade fair will feature more than 250 stalls. Exhibitors will showcase both domestic and international goods and services. Countries like China, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh will have dedicated stalls. Thailand will also participate.
Speaking at the press meet, FNCCI Vice President Sur Krishna Vaidya said the fair will promote Nepali products in global markets. He also shared that around 20,000 visitors are expected this year.
Promoting Made-in-Nepal Products
FNCCI Vice President Hem Raj Dhakal highlighted that this will be the tenth edition of the Nepal International Trade Fair. He announced special pavilions for “Made in Nepal” products and commodity-based associations. The fair will also include handicrafts, local goods, and electric vehicles (EVs), both four- and two-wheelers.
Diverse Sectoral Stalls
Umesh Dalmia, central member of FNCCI and chair of the Trade Fair Committee, said the fair will cover various sectors. These include handicrafts, tourism information, business tech, agriculture, energy, and construction education. Business delegates from different countries will attend the fair. They will engage in B2B meetings, explore bilateral trade opportunities, and discuss investment possibilities.
Support for Nepali Exports
Trade and Export Promotion Centre Senior Officer Min Bahadur Kunwar said the fair will help promote Nepali goods internationally. He emphasized that such platforms can support export growth and improve market access for small producers.
Range of Products on Display
According to the organizers, the fair will host a wide range of international products. China will bring items such as power transmission equipment, electrical appliances, automobiles, food and beverages, milk products, kitchenware, garments, and smartwatches. Bangladesh will showcase garments, while Pakistan will present leather products and clothing.
Sponsors and Special Arrangements
IME Pay is the main sponsor of the event. Heritage Carpet is supporting as a co-sponsor. Trade Fair Committee Vice Chair Sabin Shrestha shared that special arrangements are in place. Senior citizens and people with disabilities will get free entry. Students will enjoy a 50% discount if they show valid ID cards.
FNCCI also announced that the winners of local trade fairs will receive free stalls at the Nepal International Trade Fair 2025.
