Nepal Life Insurance Vital Relief 2024 to Flood Victims in Okhaldhunga and Dhankuta

Nepal Life Insurance, the most trusted life insurance company in Nepal, has provided relief materials to flood victims as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

In coordination with its branches in Okhaldhunga, Dhankuta, and Garjudhara, the company distributed essential supplies to affected families.

In Okhaldhunga’s Molung Municipality, the victims from Gauridanda, Jese, and Patle, comprising 45 households, received rice, lentils, salt, oil, and soap. Each family was provided with 30 kg of rice, 2 kg of lentils, 2 kg of salt, 2 liters of oil, and 4 bars of soap.

Due to heavy rainfall from September 25 to 28, three homes in Trishule Toll, Dhankuta, were completely damaged. In response, Nepal Life Insurance distributed 3 bundles of zinc sheets and one tent per household in the presence of local authorities.

Similarly, 30 households were displaced by floods in Jhyaaple Khola, where the company provided food supplies in coordination with local officials. The relief materials were distributed to affected families through the Garjudhara sub-branch.

Praveen Raman Parajuli, CEO of Nepal Life Insurance, emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to CSR initiatives, mentioning that the company has been involved in various socio-economic transformation activities.

Parajuli assured that the company is always ready to assist affected families and will continue to be at the forefront of providing necessary support in the future. He added that Nepal Life Insurance has been actively implementing CSR programs in the fields of education, health, disaster relief, insurance awareness, infrastructure development, and uplifting marginalized communities.
