Nepal Remittance Malaysia
The agreement was signed by Mohammad Saidur Rahman Farazi, CEO of CBL Money Transfer, and Prasiddha Raj Aryal, Deputy CEO of Machhapuchchhre Bank. With this collaboration, both institutions expect to provide reliable remittance services to thousands of Nepali migrants.
How Nepalese Can Send Money from Malaysia
Through this partnership, Nepalese in Malaysia can now send money to Nepal using two options. First, they can visit any of the 15 CBL Money Transfer branches across Malaysia. Second, they can use the City Remit mobile app for quick digital transactions.
This move simplifies the process and offers flexibility to the users. People can now choose the most convenient method depending on their location and needs.
Receiving Money in Nepal is Now Easier
Remitted funds can be easily collected in Nepal. Machhapuchchhre Bank has a wide reach with 165 branches, 99 branchless banking points, and 11 extension counters. In addition, over 20,000 remittance agents across Nepal help distribute funds efficiently.
Recipients can either visit these locations or have the amount directly credited to any bank account in Nepal. This new arrangement ensures that the money reaches families quickly, securely, and with minimal hassle.
Instant Bank Deposit Facility
One of the key features of this service is instant bank deposit. Any money sent via CBL Money Transfer or the City Remit app will be credited instantly to the recipient’s bank account in Nepal. This real-time service helps avoid delays and builds trust among senders and receivers.
Mobile Banking for Malaysians with Nepali Roots
Machhapuchchhre Bank has also launched mobile banking services for users in Malaysia. Nepalis living and working in Malaysia can now access the bank’s mobile app using Malaysian mobile numbers. This makes it easier for them to track transactions and manage finances while abroad.
A Commitment to Digital and Inclusive Banking
The bank serves over 1.7 million customers across Nepal. Its network includes 204 ATMs and a presence from the mountains to the plains. With this new initiative, Machhapuchchhre Bank continues to focus on expanding digital access and customer-friendly services.
The partnership with CBL Money Transfer is part of the bank’s broader strategy. It aims to strengthen financial inclusion and support migrant workers by providing dependable remittance solutions.
Looking Ahead
Machhapuchchhre Bank believes that this partnership will bring meaningful change. By working with CBL Money Transfer, the bank expects to make overseas remittances from Malaysia smoother and more reliable.
The initiative not only supports families in Nepal but also strengthens the economy. With strong networks, innovative services, and a clear mission, the bank is paving the way for a smarter remittance future.
