Machine Learning and Data Science Community Nepal (MLDSN) is organizing the 2nd edition of National Workshop on Machine Learning & Data Science on 10th-14th July at Kist College, Kamalpokhari,  Kathmandu. The team at MLDSN is hosting this event with a mission of creating a proper networking platform for all the machine learning and data science enthusiasts in Nepal.

The non-profitable organization has been organizing workshops, seminars, major events, and conferences related to data science and machine learning within Nepal. They promote the scope of IT and digitalization for the all-round development of Nepal.

The fundamental goal of the workshop is to impart knowledge on DS projects with ML and deep learning algorithms. They intend to target undergraduate and graduate students from Computer science, IT, Information management, staffs and faculties, and anyone interested in the field of machine learning and data science with adequate programming skills.

The notable speakers during the event are Dr. Mahabir Pun, Chairman of National Innovation Center Nepal, Prof Dr. Sashidhar Ram Joshi, Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Central Campus, IOE Tribhuwan University. Other guest speakers include the likes of Dr. Bikash Gyawali, Dr. Binod Bhattarai, Riwaj Sapkota, Dr. Samip Malla and Sarbagya R. Shakya who are associated with various universities and corporations from all over the world.

The organizers include MLDSN, Kist College & SS, Mount Tech Solutions. Fuse Machines is the sponsor of the event. The Event Co-Ordinator is Surya B. Basnet, HOD, BIM KIST college. Event’s Advisory Committee includeProf Dr. Sashidhar Ram Joshi, Indra P Subedi, Dr. Dambar Singh Ayer, Nawaraj Poudel.

These events are an excellent sign for the enthusiastic youths looking to learn and implement ML and DS here in Nepal.
