Nepali IT Companies Showcase Innovation at World IT Show in South Korea

Three leading Nepali IT companies took part in the World IT Show (WIS) 2025  in the South Korean capital.

Korea’s largest and most influential ICT event took place at the  COEX Convention Center in Seoul under the visionary theme “The Next Wave.”

Nepali IT Companies Showcase Innovation

This premier exhibition showcased transformative innovations in Generative AI, Quantum Computing, On-device AI, Digital Health, Smart Mobility, and 6G communication.

Nearly 70,000 visitors from over 450 global tech companies took part in the three-day event (April 24-26) organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea and K. Fairs Ltd. The event served as a strategic hub for thought leadership, global networking, and cross-border business development in the ICT sector.

Event Highlights included:

Technology Zones: Dedicated areas for AI, Metaverse, Semiconductors, Telecom, Smart Cities, and more.

Global ICT Insight Conference: Featuring expert sessions on industrial transformation, data sovereignty, and AI governance

WIS Business Meetings: Targeted 1:1 matchmaking to connect exhibitors with global buyers and partners.

Innovation Awards: Honoring top-tier innovations from both startups and industry giants.

Concurrent Programs: Including the ITRC Human Resource Development Festival and the ICT Tech Commercialization Festival.

Anjani Phuyal, CEO of Genese Solution, took part in the show alongside Sona Singh and Pallav Parajullee from Quickfox Consulting, and Alisha Shrestha from AMNIL Technologies.

“As part of our growing engagement in digital innovation and international collaboration at this premier global show underscored Nepal’s commitment to global tech partnerships and advancing digital economies in South Asia,” said Mr Phuyal, who is also a top AWS Ambassador for the UK and Ireland.

On Friday evening (25 April), the Embassy of Nepal in Seoul, in collaboration with the Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT),  also hosted a high-level networking event entitled “Strengthening Nepal–Korea Connection: Collaborating for a Digital Future.”

The event brought together top tech and business leaders from South Korea and Nepal to explore strategic partnerships in cloud computing, digital transformation, and innovation, among others.
