Hyundai India has officially unveiled the 2025 Hyundai Venue, a completely new generation of its popular subcompact SUV.
New Hyundai Venue 2025
Following weeks of anticipation, the model launches with an aggressive starting price of INR 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The highlight of this major overhaul is the inclusion of the advanced New Hyundai Venue 2025 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite, bringing Level 2 autonomous capability to the segment.
The 2025 Venue represents a significant leap in design, technology, and safety for the compact SUV segment. It is available in eight well-defined variants and offers a vibrant selection of eight colour options, catering to a wide range of customer preferences and budgets.
Exterior: Bold Redesign and Connected Lighting
The exterior of the new Venue adopts a bolder, more muscular stance. Hyundai designers completely revised the front and rear profiles, lending the SUV a premium, futuristic look.
Key exterior updates include sleeker quad-beam LED headlamps and newly designed LED DRLs that enhance visibility and style. The fresh radiator grille and new 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels provide a sophisticated road presence.
Notably, the rear now features a distinctive connected LED light bar with bold “VENUE” lettering integrated into the tailgate, a design element borrowed from Hyundai’s larger, premium SUVs. New colour choices, such as Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire, join the palette, along with dual-tone options for a personalized touch.
Interior: Luxury and Digital Dominance
Inside, the Venue’s cabin receives a complete, luxurious transformation, making it feel two segments above its class. The redesigned dashboard now proudly houses a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display, seamlessly integrating the infotainment system and the full digital instrument cluster.
This curved setup is an immediate attention grabber and elevates the user experience. Comfort is prioritized with new features like ventilated front seats and a fresh design for the center console.
Tech-savvy buyers gain access to essential connectivity features, including the BlueLink connected car system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates for multiple vehicle controllers.
The cabin further enhances convenience with an electric sunroof, a 360-degree Surround View Monitor, and a premium 8-speaker Bose audio system.
Safety Redefined with Level 2 ADAS
Safety receives the biggest functional upgrade. The New Hyundai Venue 2025 ADAS suite brings Level 2 capability, moving beyond simple warnings to actively assist the driver with braking, steering, and acceleration.
The ADAS system integrates 16 advanced features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), which detects vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists, and autonomously applies the brakes if the driver fails to react.
Other critical safety features include Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Driver Attention Warning, and Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM).
Additionally, the SUV offers six standard airbags, all four disc brakes, and an Electric Parking Brake (EPB) with an Auto Hold function, solidifying its position as one of the safest vehicles in its class.
Powerful and Versatile Powertrain Options
Hyundai retains its reliable and versatile lineup of engines, now paired with enhanced transmission options. Customers actively choose from three well-regarded powertrains:
- 1.2-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol: Produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, available exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission for city driving.
- 1.0-litre Turbo-Petrol: Generates a spirited 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque, offered with a 6-speed manual or the quick-shifting 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT).
- 1.5-litre Diesel: Delivers 114 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Crucially, the diesel unit is now available with both a 6-speed manual and a new, smooth-shifting 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The 2025 Hyundai Venue sets a new benchmark in the compact SUV space, directly challenging key rivals such as the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Maruti Brezza by offering a compelling package of cutting-edge technology, aggressive design, and segment-leading active safety features.
