Previously, the bank’s corporate office operated from the Trade Tower in Thapathali, Kathmandu–11. Now, all major departments and executive offices are operating from the new Kamaladi location.

Grand Inauguration in Vedic Tradition

The inauguration took place on Jestha 10, 2082 B.S.( 24 May, 2025) in a ceremony held with Vedic Sanatan rituals. Mr. Tulsiram Agrawal, Chairman of the Board of Directors, inaugurated the new building through traditional worship and ceremonial activities.

Board members, the Chief Executive Officer, and senior management officials were present to witness the occasion. The inauguration reflected both cultural heritage and institutional pride.

A Step Towards Centralized Efficiency

With approval from Nepal Rastra Bank, NIC ASIA has relocated key divisions, including the CEO’s office and departmental units, to its premises. This change aims to simplify management, streamline services, and boost internal efficiency.

By operating under one roof, the bank expects to enhance collaboration among departments and reduce operational delays. The centralized location also makes it easier for customers and stakeholders to access high-level services.

Enhancing Service Quality for Customers

NIC ASIA believes this relocation will create a more seamless experience for its clients. The modern facility is expected to support faster decision-making and improve customer service delivery.

The bank assures all customers and partners that services previously offered from Thapathali will now be available from Kamaladi with greater convenience.

This move aligns with the bank’s broader commitment to innovation, digital growth, and financial inclusion across Nepal.

Expanding Nationwide Reach

NIC ASIA Bank is one of Nepal’s largest private sector commercial banks. It has made a strong presence across the country with:

360 branch offices

670 ATMs

116 extension counters

42 branchless banking services

The bank continues to expand its network to ensure every Nepali has access to banking services, no matter how remote the location.

Focusing on Financial Inclusion

To promote financial literacy and accessibility, NIC ASIA has expanded to several rural and underserved districts. These include Mugu, Kalikot, Bajhang, Rukum, Jumla, and Salyan.

In areas where banking services are limited or absent, NIC ASIA has stepped in to fill the gap. This supports not just financial inclusion, but also local development, entrepreneurship, and household economic stability.

Through physical branches, branchless banking units, and mobile platforms, the bank reaches thousands of individuals who were previously excluded from formal banking.

Designed for the Future

The new headquarters is not just a building. It represents the bank’s vision for the future. Designed to accommodate modern workspaces and digital infrastructure, the Kamaladi office supports NIC ASIA’s digital banking initiatives and growing customer base.

Executives believe this move will help foster a more dynamic work culture, promote productivity, and improve interdepartmental communication.

The facility also includes customer-friendly spaces, security systems, energy-efficient features, and technologically enabled meeting rooms.

Leadership’s Commitment to Excellence

NIC ASIA’s leadership views this move as a symbol of stability and progress. By owning its headquarters, the bank reinforces its long-term presence in the market and commitment to professionalism.

Chairman Mr. Tulsiram Agrawal and the board have repeatedly emphasized quality service, innovation, and customer satisfaction. The new office is another step toward fulfilling these commitments.

The CEO and other executives believe this strategic shift will create a stronger foundation for future growth, digital transformation, and brand value.

Serving Customers Better, Faster, Smarter

The bank’s relocation to Kamaladi will not disrupt services. Instead, customers can expect enhanced access to banking services. Departments like operations, IT, finance, strategy, and human resources are now more integrated.

With better coordination among teams, NIC ASIA expects to reduce response times and increase satisfaction.

Moreover, the new headquarters puts the bank in a better position to coordinate with regulatory bodies, partners, and clients from a prime business location in central Kathmandu.

Conclusion: A Strategic Leap Forward

NIC ASIA Bank’s move to its corporate building at Kamaladi signals more than a change of address. It shows the bank’s evolving identity—a blend of traditional values, modern infrastructure, and digital ambition.

As the bank continues to expand its footprint across Nepal, this new headquarters stands as a symbol of growth, resilience, and readiness for the future.
