Tripathi, a resident of Majhgawa, Kotahimai Rural Municipality-2, Rupandehi, joined the organization in 1995 as an assistant. Before his voluntary resignation on November 28, 2022, he was serving as the branch manager at Nirdhan Utthan’s Phulbari branch in Kailali.

According to Nirdhan Utthan, Tripathi failed to deposit savings and loan repayments collected from clients with the institution after his resignation. Despite repeated verbal and written reminders, he has reportedly not responded, leading the institution to formally demand settlement of the outstanding funds within 15 days.

The notice specifies, “From the date of this publication, you are required to appear at the Phulbari branch office or the central office in Naxal, Kathmandu, within 15 days to settle all outstanding accounts.” Nirdhan Utthan further cautioned that failure to comply would result in legal proceedings under banking offense regulations, potentially leading to confiscation of Tripathi’s assets.
