The Balkhu vegetable market will now be traded under the NMB QR code.

The bank said the transaction was expected to facilitate cashless payments. Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari of Nepal Rastra Bank inaugurated the software on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Maha Prasad Adhikari, said that electronic payments have many benefits. And are not only needed to carry cash.

He said that digital payments would not only reduce the difficulty of losing, losing, or stealing. But would also help the bank collect consumer transaction data.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunil KC, Chief Executive Officer CEO of NMB Bank, said that NMB Bank has invested heavily in digitization and digital payments in recent years. He said NMB Bank was the first to open an online account through Viber in Nepal. And was the first to use artificial intelligence in the financial sector.

The inauguration program was attended by the Chairman of Bank Pawan Kumar Golyan, Chief Executive Officer Sunil KC and other local officials, members of the security body, the Kumari Club, and local farmers.

Chief Executive Officer KC also made proposals for concessional loans to Budhathoki Vegetable Suppliers and Sajani Vegetable Suppliers.

The bank has cooperated with small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the center. The bank is trying to attract small and medium-sized entrepreneurs into digital banking through the QR code.
