NMB Bank Hands Over Solar Panels To Maanab Sewa Ashram Pokhara

NMB Bank, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has donated a 1,000-liter solar water heater and solar lights to the Manavsewa Ashram in Gandaki Province.

The solar materials were officially handed over during a ceremony at the Ashram’s Pokhara location.
The event was inaugurated by the Minister for Social Development, Youth, and Sports of Gandaki Province, the Honorable Mr. Bindukumar Thapa, who lit a lamp to mark the start of the program.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Executive Officer of NMB Bank, Mr. Govind Yaglamre. Also present were the bank’s founding shareholders, including Mr. Rajendra Kumar Khetan, Prof. Dr. Hari Pathak, Mr. Shaligram Yaglamre, Mr. Bimal Bahadur Kunwar, and Mr. Om Kumar Mulmi. The founder and chairman of Manavsewa Ashram, Mr. Ramji Adhikari, also addressed the gathering.
The solar equipment was handed over collectively by the bank’s founding shareholders, the CEO, and the senior Deputy CEO. Other attendees included NMB Bank’s Senior Deputy CEO Sudesh Upadhyay, Manavsewa Ashram’s General Secretary Sushila K.C. (Rupa), Head of Retail and Small Business Ganesh Parajuli, and NMB Bank’s Province Head Durga Ram Puri, along with other staff and representatives from the Ashram.
NMB Bank is prioritizing sustainable development and celebrating this year’s month of Shrawan as ‘Green Month’. This CSR initiative is a part of that campaign, and the bank is also carrying out similar programs in other provinces across the country.
