5th November 2025, Kathmandu
Norvic International Hospital, a leading healthcare institution in Nepal, has officially opened applications for prestigious Norvic Fellowship Medical Specialties programs.
Norvic Fellowship Medical Specialties
These specialized academic opportunities are being offered in three critical and demanding areas of medicine: Trauma Surgery, Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine, and Cardiology (Clinical & Non-Invasive).
The announcement underscores Norvic’s commitment to advancing medical education and developing highly specialized clinical talent within the country.
The hospital is actively seeking one dedicated candidate for each fellowship, signifying an intensive, high-quality training experience. These programs provide specialized post-MD/MS training, equipping doctors with advanced skills to manage complex patient conditions in their respective fields.
The Three Specialized Fellowships
Each fellowship is designed to offer hands-on, comprehensive training under the guidance of Norvic’s experienced senior consultants. The goal is to produce specialists who actively contribute to improving patient care in areas demanding expertise.
1. Fellowship in Trauma Surgery
The Trauma Surgery fellowship focuses on the immediate and comprehensive management of critically injured patients.
The selected candidate will gain deep experience in the surgical procedures and critical care techniques required to stabilize and treat complex trauma cases resulting from accidents, disasters, or severe injury.
The program emphasizes decision-making in high-pressure situations and coordinating multidisciplinary trauma teams. Applicants must submit their CV, a recent photograph, application form, the Nepal Medical Council License for Speciality (NMCLE) certificate, and a Recommendation letter.
2. Fellowship in Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine
This dual-focus fellowship prepares a specialist to diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of respiratory and sleep-related disorders.
The Pulmonology component covers conditions like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung diseases, and lung infections.
The Sleep Medicine training addresses sleep apnea, insomnia, and other related disorders, using advanced diagnostic tools. For this specialty, applicants must submit their CV, photograph, application form, NMCLE speciality certificate, and document one year of relevant experience.
3. Fellowship in Cardiology (Clinical & Non-Invasive)
The Cardiology fellowship is structured to provide extensive training in diagnosing and managing various cardiovascular diseases.
The program emphasizes Clinical Cardiology, which includes physical examination and patient assessment, alongside Non-Invasive Cardiology, which utilizes technologies like echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring.
Like the Pulmonology track, applicants for Cardiology must submit their CV, photograph, application form, NMCLE speciality certificate, and an experience letter demonstrating one year of prior practice.
