Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF)
The Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF) is a leading membership-based, non-profit organization committed to fostering entrepreneurship among Nepal’s youth. Officially instituted by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on September 26, 2003, NYEF was born out of a need to create a unified voice for aspiring young entrepreneurs during a time of political and economic instability in Nepal.
In early 2003, as Nepal was grappling with a state of emergency, political turmoil, and widespread uncertainty, many young talents were migrating abroad in search of better opportunities. Recognizing the urgency to build a positive business climate and stop the outflow of potential, a visionary group of entrepreneurs led by Mr. Gaurav Agrawal founded NYEF with the mission to create outstanding business leaders who would contribute to the nation’s progress.
Since its inception, NYEF has grown into the apex body for young entrepreneurs in Nepal, offering platforms for idea exchange, fellowships, education, training, and policy advocacy. The forum encourages innovation, leadership, and collaboration through its strong community spread across all 7 provinces of Nepal with 14 active chapters in cities such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, Biratnagar, Chitwan, Lalitpur, Nepalgunj, and more.
NYEF is also globally recognized. It is a founding member of the SAARC Young Entrepreneurs Forum (SYEF) and Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON), and a member of the World Young Entrepreneurs Forum (WYEF) and Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Youth Committee. It currently holds the Presidency of SYEF and Vice Presidency of YEGAP, representing 29 countries across Asia-Pacific. NYEF also actively engages with the Commonwealth-Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (CAAYE).
Guided by its core values—Growth with Shared Vision, Hunger for Learning, Nation First, and Make a Mark—NYEF continues to shape Nepal’s entrepreneurial future. By building a dynamic ecosystem that fosters innovation, collaboration, and purpose-driven leadership, NYEF stands as a beacon of youth empowerment and national development.
