The online application for a vehicle driver’s license has been shut down.
The Department of Transportation Management opened an online application for a driver’s license last Tuesday after a long period of time.
The department reported that the application had been closed 5 days after the online application had been opened due to an issue with the department’s online server.
Director-General of the Department of Transport Management Gogan Bahadur Hamal said that the online application had been closed for some time due to a server issue due to high user pressure. According to him, the repair work is currently underway and will begin after the completion of the repair work.
On Monday, the Department released a notice indicating that the online server had been shut down to retain the driver’s license on-line from the server.
For this reason, the department apologized for the inconvenience caused to the service recipients.
